Overview
Daily Number Match stores game preferences and progress markers in your browser. We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage. We do not ask you to create an account or submit your name, email address, phone number, payment information, or game-board contents.
At a glance
- Game records and preferences listed below stay in browser local storage.
- GA4 receives measurement data when you visit and use the site.
- Our hosting provider may maintain standard security and access logs.
- You can clear local data and analytics cookies through your browser.
Data stored on your device
The game uses browser local storage for:
- High score: your best score in free-play mode.
- Daily challenge history: challenge dates you completed and their completion timestamps.
- Preferences: sound enabled or muted, and light or dark theme.
- Tutorial status: whether the tutorial has been completed.
The current board is not saved when you close the page. Language is selected by the page address rather than a stored preference.
Google Analytics
We use GA4 to measure how the site is used and improve the game. Under Google's standard web implementation, measurement data can include page and interaction events, user and session statistics, approximate location, and browser or device information. GA4 can set a first-party _ga cookie containing a client identifier used to distinguish browsers and sessions.
Analytics requests are sent to and processed by Google. Network information, including an IP address, may be processed when those requests are received; Google's documentation explains how IP data and approximate location are handled. We do not send your name, email address, game board, high score, or daily completion history to GA4.

Hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting and network providers that deliver Daily Number Match may process standard request information for operation, reliability, abuse prevention, and security. This can include an IP address, request time, requested page, referrer, and browser information. Their handling and retention depend on the provider's configuration and policies.
How the data is used
- Local storage keeps your scores, daily completion history, and preferences available on the same browser.
- GA4 reports help us understand traffic, sessions, popular pages, and general usage patterns.
- Hosting logs help deliver and protect the site.
Daily Number Match currently has no accounts, purchases, advertising network, public profiles, chat, or cloud-synced game saves.
Your choices
- Clear this site's local storage, cookies, or all site data in your browser settings.
- Block cookies or analytics requests using browser privacy controls or compatible extensions. Blocking them may reduce analytics measurement but should not prevent the core puzzle from working.
- Use Google's optional Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where supported.
Retention and security
Local game data remains until you clear site data or your browser removes it. Google and our hosting providers retain data according to their settings and policies. We use HTTPS in production to protect data in transit, but no internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
The game does not ask users for an age or directly request contact information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through a support email, contact us so we can review the request.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the game, analytics setup, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
